CID gets an anonymous letter challenging them from stopping a murder. The time and the location of the murder is given in a code sent in the letter. CID solves the code and reach the place and the murder has already happened. The taunting letters continue coming till CID finds a man who looks like their killer. But something is missing, everything has been set up to make it look like the captured man is the real killer. Ultimately one small mistake from the killer entangles him in his own created web.
