Daya and Abhijit are sitting in a restaurant when Daya spots his good friend Purvi. Daya introduces Abhijit to Purvi and her family and to the utter shock of the two cops , Purvi and her family accuses Abhijit of having murdered Purvi’s elder brother 15 years ago. The two cops are stunned. 15 years ago was the time when Abhijit had lost his memory and was incorporated into CID – he was known as Arvind during that time. To Daya’s dismay Abhijit has no memory of the alleged crime and he tells Daya that he may have or may not have killed Purvi’s elder brother. And even before the cops can get a grip of what is happening, Purvi’s younger brother also gets murdered. All suspicions point towards Abhijit as the younger brother was supposed to be carrying a proof against Abhijit . Abhijit resigns and a lot of tension mounts between Daya and Abhijit. If that was not enough, Purvi and Daya also begin to fall apart as Puruvi wants Daya to arrest Abhijit. But when a 15 year old tape comes up showing Abhijit holding knife and Purvi’s elder brother Sudheer dying , the cops realize that Abhijit is asking for help in the video and why would anyone shoot a video of a dying man instead of helping him? And so, the CID team gets down to tracking the man behind this 15 year old murder and why somebody wanted to trap Arvind/Abhijit during that time.
