A man, Abhinav , buys a painting from a poor artist. The painting is that of a young beautiful woman who the artist claims was his wife and is no more now. The man brings the painting home and hangs it in his living room. However , from the next day , onwards weird things start happening with him. He spots the same girl in different places- on the road , in a shopping mall etc. He stalks her and the girl files a complaint. The man tells the cops that he has this girl’s painting in his house and he was told that she is dead. The cops go to see the painter who had painted her picture but he is found murdered. The girl doesn’t remember ever getting that painting made or ever having hair or clothes like that. The cops use the painting to crack the mystery. They find out that the girl was in the vicinity of the art studio when this portrait was painted. The artist who made this painting deliberately painted the face of this unsuspecting girl even though he was supposed to paint the woman who was modeling for the portrait. The cops have to now find out that why the painter painted the face of a random girl standing nearby instead of the model and what is it about the painting that has led to three murders and now the girl’s life under threat? Does the painting hide a secret?
