Sooji ka halwa
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Desi ghee ½ cup (solid form)
-Choti elaichi (green cardamom) 3-4
-Sooji (semolina) ¾ cup
-Cheeni (sugar) 1 & ¼ cup
-Pani (water) 3 cups
-Food color (Zarda ka rang) ½ tsp or as required
-Kewra essence ½ tsp
-Dry fruits as required (for garnishing)

Directions:
-In wok, heat ghee and add green cardamom, sauté for a minute.
-Add semolina and roast on medium low flame until color change and fragrant.
-Add sugar and give it a good mix.
-Add water and food color, mix well, cover and cook on medium low flame for 3-4 minutes.
-Add kewra essence and mix it.
-Cover and simmer for 1-2 minute.
-Garnish with dry fruits.
-Sooji ka halwa is ready.

Recipe in Urdu:

Ajza:
-Desi ghee ½ cup (solid form)
-Choti elaichi (green cardamom) 3-4
-Sooji (semolina) ¾ cup
-Cheeni (sugar) 1 & ¼ cup
-Pani (water) 3 cups
-Food color (Zarda ka rang) ½ tsp or as required
-Kewra essence ½ tsp
-Dry fruits as required (for garnishing)

Direction:
-Karhai mein ghee garam karein aur hari elaichi dal ker ek minutes kliya saute ker lein.
-Suji shamil karein aur halki darmiyani ancch per khushboo anay aur rang tabdeel hunay tak bhoon lein.
-Cheeni dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Pani aur food color dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein,dhak ker halki ancch per paka lein 3-4 minutes kliya.
-Kewra essence shamil ker k mix ker lein.
-Dhak ker 1-2 minute kliya dum per rakh dein.
-Dry fruits sa garnish karein.
-Sooji ka halwa tayyar hai.


Poori
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Maida (flour) 2 cups
-Namak (salt) ½ tsp
-Pani (water) warm as required
-Oil for frying

Directions:
-In bowl, add flour and salt, mix it.
-Add warm water (as required), mix and knead well until all ingredients are combined.
-Make a soft dough, punch and knead it again. Grease the dough with oil.
-Cover and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
-Grease your hands and divide dough into small balls and leave it for 15 minutes.
-Now again grease your hands and flattened small balls into round shape with the help of your hands.
-Deep fry on a medium low flame until done.
-Poori is ready.

-Bowl mein maida aur namak dal ker mix ker lein.
-Neem garam pani shamil karein,mix ker k ache tarhan maida ko ghond lein.
-Naram dough tayyyar ker lein,oil sa grease ker lein.
-Dhak ker 15-20 minutes kliya rakh dein.
-Haathon ko grease karein aur dough k chotay balls bana lein aur 15 minutes kliya chor dein.
-Dubara haathon ko grease karein aur small bowl ko haathon ki madad round shape mein pheela lein.
-Halki darmiyani ancch per deep fry ker lein.
-Poori tayyar hai.
