This is a story of two neighboring families set in Kolkatta, one a conservative, traditional Marwadi family which is Ragini's family and the other an effervescent, liberal Bengali Family which is Swara's family, who have a very different set of value systems.

Shekhar takes the keys from his mother in front of everyone and hands them over to Sharmishtha and then they leave from there. On the other hand, Adarsh and Pareenita are attacked by the Police, whom Swara had contacted earlier but they came late. Swara, Ragini, Annapoorna and Devi Prasad are saved from Adarsh and Pareenita. Meanwhile, Sanskaar and Lakshya are fighting and Sanskaar is about to kill Lakshya, but Shekhar arrives just in time and saves him. Lakshya walks away without saying anything. Later, Annapoorna asks Devi Parasad to forgive Adarsh and not to sign on the papers as they would get Adarsh arrested. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.
