This is a story of two neighboring families set in Kolkatta, one a conservative, traditional Marwadi family which is Ragini's family and the other an effervescent, liberal Bengali Family which is Swara's family, who have a very different set of value systems.

Swara asks Sanskaar whether he fought with Lakshya but he doesn't answer her and very romantically changes the topic. Meanwhile, Ragini is waiting for the SMS. She is informed in the SMS that a bouquet has been sent for the Durga prasad in which the next step is written in a card. Ragini is about to take that bouquet but Swara stops her and takes the bouquet and hands it over to Aanapurna. Later, Swara is making Kheer for everyone because of the temple tender but Ragini enters the kitchen and tries to help her and adds something in the Elaichi powder as ordered by the blackmailer.
