This is a story of two neighboring families set in Kolkatta, one a conservative, traditional Marwadi family which is Ragini's family and the other an effervescent, liberal Bengali Family which is Swara's family, who have a very different set of value systems.

Swara calls up Parvati on the phone and warns her that what she did is wrong. Swara tells Parvati that she would now expose her misdeeds and question everything from her. Parvati panics and she rushes to Sharmishtha after disconnecting the call. Parvati on purpose sends Sharmishtha out of the house and makes an excuse to do so. Meanwhile, Ragini takes a five lakh rupees cheque and gives it to the person blackmailing her. Moreover, Swara reaches Parvati's house with Lakshya and Swara searches for Sharmishtha, but realises that her grandmother has sent Sharmishtha out of the home. Stay tuned to know what happens next.
