Naila Kiani who holds a degree in aerospace engineering is the first Pakistani female to summit an 8000m peak Gasherbrum II. As an avid sportsperson — she is a trained boxer, rock climber and runs for fun. But her transition into a big mountain climber happened rather quickly and against all expectations. She has won amateur fights in boxing in England and also played some other sports including cricket and won many trophies at the national level. Today we highlight the life and achievements of Naila Kiani.
