Zaheer Khattak is working for the development of football in district Thatta by running a free football child academy where many underprivileged children learn about football and life skills. Zaheer is also working on the promotion of education in his district. He has been voluntarily working for the development of football since 2010. As Youth Ambassador, he represented Pakistan at the Empower 2019 Youth Conference in Qatar.
