Hamaray Heroes powered by Inverex honours the unsung heroes of Pakistan 🇵🇰
Mrs Irum Rizwan has been at the forefront of establishing services for children with Autism in Pakistan.
When her son was diagnosed with Autism. She travelled to America and learned programs such as Teacch, ABA that are used to help children with Autism.
Upon returning to Pakistan, she set up an Autism Unit at Ma Ayesha Memorial center.
She would be approached by Dow University of Health Sciences to set up an Autism Unit at IPM&R. That Autism Unit was set up in 2016 and now has expanded to providing services to over a 100 children.
More recently she was approached by the Sindh Government to set up C-ARTs. Which is now the largest Autism Center in South East Asia. C-ARTs provides services to over 200 individuals with Autism.
